BOTCP's Heartbeat
Our Start
2018 - Officially Founded
Back Of The Class Productions was founded in early 2000 by the late Marshuan D. Braxton. He had a desire to develop a safe and educational place that teens could call their own and be free to show off their artistic skills, while improving their academic intellect. With careful planning and the results of many surveys, Braxton's desire became a reality in 2018.

Hills & Valleys
2019 - Covid Stumbling Block
In the summer of 2019, BOTCP was set to host its first ever Teen Fest Campaign to provide the local teens with a week of fun and opportunities to build appropriate connections, while promoting and raising awareness for our brand. Unfortunately, Covid-19 became the stumbling block that hindered our movement.
Recovery With A New Idea
2020 - The Career Development Pod Idea
Mid ways through 2020, BOTCP's Governing Board met to regroup and replan their brand's awareness campaign, but was greeted with the idea of a Career Development Pod by a few of the board members. By the end of 2020, BOTCP's stakeholders and Governing Board created a solid plan to include this idea in 2021.
The After Effects
During the first half of 2021, the youth center and career development pods were financially challenging to jumpstart due to covid recovery. During the second half of 2021, parents from certain neighborhoods began to insist that BOTCP considered using their study hall of tutoring for a mini homeschool business. BOTCP discarded the idea until spring of 2022.
Today, We Are Building
2022 - Plans Come Together
After meeting with several teens concerning the desire for an alternative education route in mid spring, BOTCP's Governing Board discovered the idea was more than an desire, it is a need. With careful research and planning, BOTCP's MS M.U.D (MicroSchooling Method of Unlimited Self-Development) Study Hall Pod was designed by the end of summer.
Today, BOTCP is planning to open 20 MS M.U.D Study Hall Pods in 5 locations, with 11 Career Development course options to accommodate 250+ teens by the fall of 2024!
